Massive Banner Unveiled by Brazil Fans Ahead of FIFA World Cup

As the FIFA World Cup approaches, enthusiastic Brazil fans in Munda, located near Vazhikkadavu in the Malappuram district, have showcased their support by erecting an enormous flex banner. This impressive banner measures 400 feet in length and 12 feet in height, and it has been set up by the Munda Jazz Club, which claims it to be one of the longest football-themed banners globally. Positioned along the KNG Road, this striking display has quickly become a popular spot for football fans visiting the area.

Honoring Football Legends

The banner prominently features renowned Brazilian football players, including Neymar, alongside the coaching staff of the national team. Supporters from the club have expressed their optimism that Brazil will reclaim the World Cup title, which they missed out on in 2022.

Community Effort Behind the Banner

The total cost of this project was around Rs 2 lakh, funded through contributions from club members and local Brazil supporters. Approximately 60 members participated in the installation, which commenced at 9:30 PM on Tuesday and concluded around 3:30 AM on Wednesday, showcasing a dedicated overnight effort.
