This information was disclosed by officials on Friday.


Details of the Attack

According to the complaint filed at the Thanesar City police station, the incident took place on Thursday evening. The lawyer, Balwant Singh Walia, stated that he stepped out around 9:30 PM to walk his pet dog. Upon returning at about 10 PM, he found his home in disarray. His wife was discovered lying face down on the bed, with her hands and feet bound and tape over her mouth.


Police Investigation

Walia reported that four masked attackers were inside the house. The intruders restrained him and tied his limbs. Following the incident, police, forensic teams, and senior officials visited the crime scene. Security has been heightened at the lawyer's residence. Station House Officer Devendra Singh mentioned on Friday that police teams are actively investigating the case and reviewing CCTV footage from across the city to identify the suspects.
