The revered Manimahesh Yatra 2026 continued on Sunday, with thousands of pilgrims making their way to the sacred Manimahesh Lake and Kailash peak.

According to Ajay Kumar Singh, the Sub-Divisional Magistrate (Civil) of Bharmour, by 6 PM on September 6, approximately 2,650 pilgrims had set off from Hadsar using the traditional footpath leading to Manimahesh.

To assist the devotees, helicopter taxi services are also in operation. On Sunday alone, 56 flights were conducted between Bharmour and Gaurikund. This service enabled 271 pilgrims to travel from Bharmour to Gaurikund, while around 268 pilgrims returned from Gaurikund to Bharmour, taking advantage of the air service during the yatra.

The SDM also mentioned that by 4 PM, 35 pilgrims had embarked on the Kailash Darshan via the Kalah foot route from Holi. This alternative route continues to see a steady influx of devotees heading towards the sacred site.

The ongoing yatra showcases the profound faith and dedication of the pilgrims, who are utilizing both traditional paths and modern air travel to reach the esteemed Manimahesh shrine.
