Arrest of the Suspect

The police have apprehended Rahul Jha, 45, who is accused of murdering his wife and three daughters in Jaipur. Reports indicate that he was captured in the Sikar area. The Karadani police tracked him down using CCTV footage. A reward of ₹25,000 was announced for information leading to his arrest just a day prior.

Escape and Capture

According to sources, after fleeing Jaipur, the suspect traveled to Khatu Shyam Ji for a pilgrimage. Following his visit, he checked into a hotel but attempted to sell his ring to cover his expenses. The hotel management refused to exchange the ring for ₹500. Subsequently, he left the hotel and was apprehended in Reengus.

The police received a report of the murders at 10 AM on Friday. Upon arrival, they discovered the bodies of Geeta Jha (40), and her daughters Nandini (22), Radhika (17), and Girish alias Gauri (14), all covered in blood.

Geeta's body was found in a room on the first floor, while the daughters were located in two rooms on the ground floor. Blood-stained clothes belonging to Rahul were also found at the scene, along with his mobile phone, which was switched off.

Investigations revealed that Rahul had purchased milk from a vendor at 7 AM and made tea for his elderly father, Lakshminath Jha (85), before fleeing the house.
