She emphasized the significant improvements in the region due to the introduction of better facilities, colleges, and healthcare centers. Banerjee criticized the Ministry of Railways for delays in local projects, pointing out that flyovers and related works approved years ago remain unfinished.

Political Candidates and Infrastructure Issues

In her speech, she announced that Rajiv Banerjee would be contesting from Debra, alongside Shrikant Mahato and Ajit Maity, who are running from Salboni and Pingla, respectively. She expressed frustration over the incomplete flyover construction, which was sanctioned during her tenure, questioning how they could complete their work under the bridge if the rail ministry does not fulfill its commitments. Banerjee urged the relevant authorities to expedite the completion of these projects.

Healthcare and Educational Advancements

Banerjee highlighted the establishment of a super specialty hospital, a public health unit, and an ITI polytechnic college in Debra. She noted that a block public health unit has been created, prioritizing child care at the rural hospital. Over 120 roads have been constructed or renovated, and significant funds have been allocated for these projects. Additionally, she mentioned that 53 crucial projects for drinking water supply are underway in Debra, along with an investment of nearly 9 crore rupees for an integrated English medium school for tribal students.

Community Support Initiatives

Banerjee also discussed the establishment of a bus terminal and emphasized the importance of the Patha Sathi scheme. A new electric substation has been built, and the Karmasathi scheme has provided substantial assistance to the local populace. She assured that the Lakshmi Bhandar scheme benefits everyone, encouraging residents to choose AITC for lifelong advantages. The Kanyashree scheme is aiding in building a brighter future for girls, and there are student credit cards available as well.

Flood Management Efforts
