Mamata Banerjee's Strong Allegations Against BJP
On Monday, Mamata Banerjee, the leader of the Trinamool Congress, accused the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) of instigating conflict among various sections of society, claiming that the party aims to exploit this turmoil for its own gain. During an election rally, she expressed her strong disapproval of the political 'chargesheet' presented by Union Home Minister Amit Shah against the Trinamool government.
Banerjee stated, "The first chargesheet should be filed against them (Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Amit Shah), who gained power by inciting riots."

While addressing the rally in West Medinipur district, she further alleged, "The BJP is creating discord among all sections of society. They want to take advantage of this situation to loot the country."
She accused the BJP of attempting to divide Hindus and Muslims in all matters, including administrative and police services.

Banerjee claimed that members of the civil service and many government officials, including those performing excellently, are being disrespected. The Chief Minister of West Bengal asserted that several senior officials have been arbitrarily transferred to other election-bound states under pressure from the BJP, following the Election Commission's request.
