Significant Development Projects Announced
Kotputli-Bahrod. Under the initiative 'Progress Path in Motion Rajasthan', a state-level event was held on Sunday at Vijay Nagar Ground in Alwar, which was broadcast live at the Government Sardar Higher Secondary School auditorium in Kotputli. This live transmission reached all sub-divisions and village panchayats across the district.
Central Home and Cooperation Minister Amit Shah, along with Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma and Union Minister for Forest and Environment Bhupender Yadav, graced the event as chief guests. During the program, the Home Minister inaugurated and laid the foundation for 67 development projects in the Kotputli-Bahrod district, with a total investment of ₹198.83 crores.
Additionally, the state-level event saw the inauguration and foundation laying of 954 development projects across the state, amounting to ₹6,453 crores. Furthermore, ₹667 crores were transferred to 67 lakh farmers under the Kisan Samman Nidhi scheme through Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT). An insurance amount of ₹1.52 crores was also credited to farmers' accounts under the Prime Minister's Crop Insurance Scheme. Moreover, appointment letters were distributed to 10,548 candidates for government jobs.
At the district-level event, District Collector Aparna Gupta welcomed newly appointed personnel by presenting them with welcome kits. She encouraged them to fulfill their responsibilities with dedication and a spirit of public service.
Other attendees included ADM Omprakash Saharan, SDM Yogesh Deval, CMHO Dr. Ashish Singh Shekhawat, DTO Sunil Saini, and PHEDE SE Ashok Kumar, along with officials from relevant departments and newly appointed staff.
At noon, a state-level program for the Atal Gaurav Smriti ceremony was also broadcast live, allowing attendees at the district headquarters and all sub-divisions and village panchayats to learn about ongoing development projects, farmer welfare initiatives, and various employment-related programs in the state.
