Significant Operations in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa


Peshawar: In a significant operation, Pakistani security forces have successfully eliminated 11 terrorists during two distinct operations in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, as reported by the military's media division on Saturday.


These intelligence-led operations took place on Thursday, targeting militants affiliated with Fitna Al Khawarij.


The term Fitna Al Khawarij refers to members of the Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP).


According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), one operation in the North Waziristan district resulted in the death of six terrorists following a fierce exchange of gunfire.


Additionally, a collaborative operation involving police and security forces in the Kurram district led to the neutralization of five more terrorists.
