Significant Security Operation in Latehar
Ranchi: On Saturday, security personnel successfully eliminated two prominent leaders of the Jharkhand Jan Mukti Parishad, a splinter group of Naxalites, in the Latehar district of Jharkhand. Reports indicate that one of the deceased, Pappu Lohara, had a bounty of Rs 10 lakh on his head, while the other, Prabhat Ganjhu, was worth Rs 5 lakh.
In addition to the fatalities, another member of the group sustained injuries and was apprehended by the forces. An INSAS rifle was also seized from the arrested individual, according to sources.
The operation marks a significant achievement in the ongoing efforts to combat Naxalite activities in the region.
