Major Administrative Reshuffle in Uttar Pradesh: 38 IAS Officers Transferred
Significant Changes in IAS Positions
The Uttar Pradesh government has implemented a substantial administrative reshuffle, transferring 38 IAS officers. Among those affected, Rinku Rahi has been appointed to the Revenue Council. The list detailing the transfers has been officially released, indicating changes in various departments and positions.
According to the transfer list published on Sunday, several district magistrates have been reassigned. New responsibilities have been allocated to district officials in Deoria, Moradabad, and Sambhal, among others. Madhusudan Hulgi has been appointed as the District Magistrate of Deoria, while Ankit Khandelwal takes over as the District Magistrate of Sambhal. Rajendra Pensia, previously the DM of Sambhal, has been assigned to Moradabad.
New Appointments and Responsibilities
Divya Mittal, who served as the DM of Deoria, has been appointed as the Special Secretary in the Revenue Department of the Uttar Pradesh government. Meanwhile, IAS Chandrashekhar, who was awaiting posting, has been designated as the Special Secretary for the Irrigation and Water Resources Department. Santosh Kumar Vaish, the Chief Development Officer of Ghazipur, has been appointed as the Municipal Commissioner of Agra. Praful Kumar Sharma, who was the Joint Magistrate in Raebareli, has been promoted to Chief Development Officer in Lucknow.
Rinku Singh Rahi's New Role
Rinku Singh Rahi, who recently withdrew his conditional resignation from the IAS on April 20, has received a new posting as the Joint Magistrate in Jalaun. Rajendra Pensia, an IAS officer from the 2015 batch and former DM of Sambhal, has now been appointed as the District Magistrate of Moradabad. Ankit Khandelwal is the newly appointed District Magistrate of Sambhal.
