Guided by the philosophy of Maharishi Mahesh Yogi Ji, which states, “The purpose of education is to unfold the full dignity of human life,” Maharishi Vidya Mandir has released its Annual Report for the academic year 2025–26. This report highlights a year filled with academic success, cultural achievements, sportsmanship, and a focus on consciousness-based education.


Notable Guests and Community Involvement

The annual event featured a distinguished panel of guests, including the Chief Guest, Sh. Narender Mongra, Chairman of APMC and OBC Congress Himachal Pradesh. Other notable attendees included Sh. Sanju Dhiman (Director, Vishkarma Kalyan Board HP), Sh. Kuldeep Thakur (Chairman, Maharana Pratap School), and representatives from various departments and media organizations. Their presence highlighted the strong community ties and trust the institution has built over the years.


Celebrating 34 Years of Educational Excellence

During the event, school leaders reflected on 34 years of commitment to nurturing young minds through value-driven and holistic education. The institution adheres to Consciousness-Based Education, a framework established by Maharishi Mahesh Yogi Ji, which incorporates Transcendental Meditation (TM) and the TM-Sidhi Programme into students' daily lives. These practices, conducted twice daily, have been shown to enhance concentration, creativity, emotional stability, and academic success.


Academic Success and Skill Development Initiatives

The academic year 2024–25 achieved a remarkable 100% pass rate in both Class X and Class XII CBSE Board Examinations, reflecting the dedication of teachers, the hard work of students, and the steadfast support from parents.


To promote comprehensive development, the school organized numerous co-curricular and skill-building activities. Younger students engaged in poem recitation, calligraphy, card making, diya decoration, clay modeling, and various creative contests. Senior students demonstrated their analytical and innovative abilities through science and math quizzes, model-making competitions, and rangoli, fostering leadership, teamwork, and self-confidence.


Sports and Physical Development Activities

The school celebrated Sports Day over two days, filled with enthusiasm. Inter-class and inter-house competitions in Kho-Kho, Kabaddi, Badminton, and Volleyball promoted discipline, sportsmanship, and physical fitness. The enthusiastic participation underscored the institution's commitment to balanced physical and mental development.


Professional Development for Educators

A significant highlight of the year was the seven-day MRCC Teacher Training Programme, which saw participation from around 55 teachers from MVM schools across various locations. This initiative provided a valuable opportunity for professional growth, sharing best teaching practices, and enhancing pedagogical skills.


Cultural Achievements at Regional and National Levels

Students excelled in Maharishi Regional and National Cultural Meets held in Kangra and Bhopal, achieving several accolades:

On the occasion of the 109th Birth Anniversary of His Holiness Maharishi Mahesh Yogi Ji, a special message from Brahmachari Girish was shared, emphasizing the importance of Vedic Science, Transcendental Meditation, and collective consciousness in fostering peace at individual, national, and global levels. The message reiterated the vision of creating a “Heavenly Life on Earth” through enlightened education.
