Maharishi Vidya Mandir School in Kangra Commemorates 80th Independence Day with Enthusiasm
Celebrating India's 80th Independence Day
Under the leadership of Principal Ms. Pooja Sharma, Maharishi Vidya Mandir School in Kangra marked India's 80th Independence Day with immense zeal and patriotic fervor. The entire school community actively engaged in the celebrations, creating an atmosphere filled with national pride.
The festivities commenced with the hoisting of the National Flag, followed by students singing the National Anthem. A variety of cultural and patriotic events were organized, showcasing the essence of freedom and unity.
During the event, Principal Sharma conveyed the Independence Day message from Hon’ble Chairman Brahmachari Girish Ji of the Maharishi Vidya Mandir School Group. He expressed warm wishes to everyone as India celebrated 79 years of independence and entered its 80th year of freedom. He referred to India as the Land of the Gods (Dev Bhoomi), the Land of the Vedas (Ved Bhoomi), and a Sacred Land (Punya Bhoomi), wishing prosperity and peace for all citizens.
He highlighted the importance of spreading Vedic knowledge and spiritual awareness, as taught by His Holiness Swami Brahmanand Saraswati Ji Maharaj and Param Pujya Maharishi Mahesh Yogi Ji, to combat poverty, suffering, terrorism, and unrest. He reaffirmed the vision of restoring India as the Land of the Vedas and achieving the ideal of Heaven on Earth.
Principal Ms. Pooja Sharma also shared heartfelt wishes with students and teachers, encouraging them to honor the sacrifices made by brave freedom fighters and to draw inspiration from their ideals. The celebration concluded with the distribution of sweets among students, marking a joyful end to the patriotic event.
