Tragic Death in Kandivali East

In a heartbreaking incident, Renu Katre, aged 44, the spouse of a sub-registrar from the Maharashtra Housing and Area Development Authority, was discovered hanging in her residence located in Kandivali East. While preliminary investigations suggest suicide, her family believes there may be more to the story.


Renu had previously accused her husband of harassment. According to her brother, she ended her life following a dispute on Saturday night, but he firmly maintains that her death should be classified as murder.



The Mumbai Police have initiated a case under Section 108 of the BNS, and an in-depth investigation is currently underway.
