Investigation Ordered by Maharashtra Chief Minister

In light of the ongoing controversy surrounding alleged harassment and forced conversions at the TCS unit in Nashik, Maharashtra's Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis announced that the government has instructed central agencies to conduct a thorough investigation. He emphasized that those responsible will not escape justice and assured that the government is committed to uncovering the truth behind this sensitive and serious matter. Fadnavis stated, 'We must investigate this case thoroughly. All agencies have been mobilized to address this issue.'


Court Sends Accused to Police Custody

Meanwhile, a local court in Nashik has remanded two individuals to police custody until April 18 in connection with the alleged sexual harassment and forced conversion case involving TCS. The accused have been identified as Raza Rafiq Memon (35) and Shafi Bikhan Sheikh (36). They were re-arrested on Wednesday after being placed in judicial custody related to the case.


Further Developments in the Case

The judge ordered the two men to be held in police custody for two days. According to police reports, charges have been filed against the accused under relevant sections of the Indian Penal Code. To date, a total of nine cases have been registered, resulting in the arrest of seven individuals, including six male employees and one female employee from the Nashik TCS unit.
