Statements from AIPA and FPAK Leaders

Arvind Prabhoo, President of AIPA, remarked, "The 10th AIPA Nationals have been a significant milestone for Indian pickleball, uniting athletes nationwide and highlighting the emerging talent across various age groups. Maharashtra's dual championship win showcases the competitive strength of its players, while performances from other states indicate the sport's rapid growth. Our goal is to expand pickleball's reach and strengthen its grassroots, which is why we plan to host future Nationals in Panipat in 2024, Jammu in 2025, and now Kerala in 2026. This approach allows us to create opportunities for athletes and foster local communities, establishing a solid foundation for the sport beyond traditional centers. We appreciate FPAK, our sponsors, and partners for their support in making this event a celebration of competition and the growing pickleball community in India."

Jacob Bijo Daniel, President of FPAK, expressed, "Hosting the 10th AIPA Nationals in Kerala for the first time has been a proud achievement for FPAK. The gathering of over 1,000 athletes and officials from across the country underscores the increasing popularity of pickleball in India. We are thrilled to have provided a platform for young players, senior competitors, and veterans to compete together and create unforgettable sporting moments. We hope this championship marks the start of a stronger pickleball movement in Kerala and encourages more players and communities to embrace the sport."
