Maharashtra ATS Launches Major Operation

The Anti-Terrorism Squad (ATS) of Maharashtra executed a significant statewide operation on Friday. This initiative involved questioning 112 individuals suspected of having connections with gangster Shahzad Bhatti, who is reportedly based in Pakistan. According to information provided by officials, the ATS is conducting a thorough investigation into this matter.

An ATS official stated that Shahzad Bhatti is accused of using social media platforms to allegedly lure and influence Indian youth towards anti-national activities. In light of this, teams from all 14 units of the ATS collaborated early Friday morning to carry out this targeted operation.

The official further explained that the ATS is attempting to verify the true nature of the connections these individuals have with the Pakistan-based gangster. The purpose of this questioning is also to gather essential evidence for the ongoing investigation. Further inquiries are still underway, and detailed information is awaited.
