Former Indian cricketer Madan Lal has expressed admiration for the involvement of renowned players Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma in domestic cricket. He believes their participation not only elevates the quality of the tournament but also serves as an inspiration for fans and young players. Kohli and Rohit, two of India's most celebrated batsmen, have recently showcased their skills while representing their respective state teams. Kohli's impressive innings of 131 runs off 101 balls led Delhi to a four-wicket win over Andhra Pradesh in Bengaluru. His performance highlighted his class and determination, as he played a crucial role in guiding Delhi to victory under pressure. Meanwhile, Rohit delivered a spectacular performance for Mumbai, scoring an unbeaten 155 runs off just 94 balls to secure a win against Sikkim.

During the match between Mumbai and Sikkim at Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur, fans cheered for the 'Hitman' as Sikkim set a target of 236 runs. Rohit responded with a phenomenal innings of 155 not out, which included 18 fours and nine sixes, achieving a strike rate of 164.89. His innings significantly contributed to Mumbai's chase, while Angkrish Raghuvanshi and Musheer Khan supported him from the non-striker's end.
Kohli's Century Leads Delhi to Success
In Bengaluru, after Delhi chose to bowl first, Andhra Pradesh's Ricky Bhui scored 122 runs off 105 balls, setting a challenging target of 299 runs. Delhi's pacer Simarjeet Singh shone with a five-wicket haul, limiting Andhra Pradesh to 298 runs. Following an early wicket, Kohli, who scored 14 fours and three sixes, formed crucial partnerships with Priyansh Arya and Nitish Rana, leading Delhi to a successful chase with four wickets remaining and nearly 12 overs to spare. Notably, Kohli became the second Indian, after Sachin Tendulkar, to reach 16,000 List-A runs and secured his 58th List-A century.
