Allegations Against Trainee Doctor in Lucknow

The police in Lucknow have registered a First Information Report (FIR) against a trainee doctor from a government institution in the Kaiserbagh area. The charges include sexual assault on a nursing student under the pretense of marriage and threats to release her private photos.

According to Deputy Commissioner of Police Vishwajeet Srivastava, the nursing student reported at the Kaiserbagh police station that the accused had engaged in multiple physical relations with her while promising marriage. When she refused to marry him, he allegedly threatened to leak her private images on social media.

Initial investigations indicate that the accused is a trainee at a medical institution, and efforts are underway to locate him. The student's statement will be recorded in front of a magistrate as the investigation continues.

This incident marks the second such case reported from the same institution in the past fortnight. Previously, a doctor from West Bengal filed a complaint against a fellow doctor, alleging that she was coerced into a love jihad and pressured to convert her religion before marriage. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath had spoken with the victim in that case, and the accused remains at large.
