Assessment of Flood-Affected Villages

On Thursday, Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla visited several villages in Bundi district that were affected by flooding, where he evaluated the ongoing relief and rehabilitation efforts.


During his visit to Khyawada village, Collector Akshay Godara presented a survey report, prompting Birla to request a detailed and accurate account of the damages incurred.


A local representative informed Birla that 138 homes had been completely destroyed, while 211 others suffered partial damage. Birla toured the villages of Khyawada, Rihana, Delunda, and Maliyon Ki Badi, engaging with the affected families. He reassured them that the survey process is progressing swiftly and that both the administration and local representatives are fully committed to supporting them.
