Loharu Sub-Civil Hospital Acquires Fully Automatic Biochemistry Analyzer

  • This machine can test nearly 500 diseases for up to 72 patients simultaneously.

(Bhiwani News) Loharu. The laboratory at the local sub-civil hospital has recently installed a fully automatic biochemistry analyzer, enabling the testing of approximately 500 diseases for 72 patients at once. This advancement will alleviate the financial burden of laboratory tests that patients previously had to endure at private labs, saving both time and money.

Cost of the Machine Estimated at Around 38 Lakhs

The demonstration of the fully automatic biochemistry analyzer has been successfully completed by a team of specialists. The machine will commence operations once the department provides the necessary reagents. The estimated cost of this machine is around 38 lakhs.

It is noteworthy that this advanced biochemistry analyzer was previously available only at the district hospital in Bhiwani. With its introduction at the Loharu sub-civil hospital, patients can now undergo various tests, including CBC, sugar, urea, LFT, KFT, liver, kidney, and cholesterol-related tests, all in one go.

Relief for Rural Patients

It is essential for doctors to conduct necessary tests to identify any illnesses before starting treatment. Previously, the absence of such a machine in rural hospitals forced patients to seek services at private hospitals or travel to the Bhiwani district headquarters.

Private hospitals often charged exorbitant fees for tests, while overcrowding at the district hospital caused additional inconvenience for patients. The introduction of this machine at the Loharu hospital is expected to provide significant relief, saving both time and money for patients.

Official Statements

Acting Senior Medical Officer Dr. Gaurav Chaturvedi stated that the installation of the fully automatic biochemistry analyzer at the sub-civil hospital has been completed. The machine will be operational once the reagents are received, benefiting patients by saving their time and money.
