The striking similarity in facial features, hairstyle, and smile is hard to overlook. However, this is actually Allen James, a 15-year-old from Chakkuvally in Kollam, who has recently gained fame on social media due to his resemblance to the football prodigy.

While locals had noted the likeness before, it was a video shared by Nikhil Manohar, a block panchayat member and vlogger, that propelled Allen into the spotlight. The video showcased Allen in a Yamal jersey and has since attracted over 14 million views on Instagram, significantly amplifying his popularity.

A Passion for Football

Allen's connection to football extends beyond his looks. As a Class 10 student at Peruvazhi Government High School, he plays as a defender on his school football team. Unlike Yamal, who is known for his offensive skills, Allen prefers to focus on defense. Football is a family affair for him, as his brother also plays the sport. Although he admires Yamal, Allen's heart lies with Lionel Messi and the Argentina national team.
