Local School Girls Shine at District Yoga and Wrestling Championships

Outstanding Achievements in Sports

The under-19 girls from Government Senior Secondary School Chauri have made their school and community proud by excelling in the district-level Yoga and Wrestling competitions held in Amroh.

The team achieved remarkable success, securing a total of 3 Gold, 2 Silver, and 1 Bronze medal. In the Yoga category, Palak and Vanshika earned Gold medals, while Hina and Shikha took home Silver. In Wrestling, Amrita won Gold, and Payal claimed a Bronze medal.

Upon their return, the triumphant athletes and their coach, Sanjeev Kumar, were greeted with a warm celebration featuring garlands and cheers. Principal Sarita Dubey praised the winners and their coach, describing their accomplishments as a source of motivation for fellow students. She also promised ongoing support for their future sports activities.
