Rajkumar Choudhary
Gaggal (Kangra): As part of the Aapka Sevak Aapke Dwar initiative, Chaudhary Narendra Nishu Mongra engaged with the residents of Dhoogiyari and Sameerpur villages, addressing their concerns regarding local infrastructure. The villagers expressed the urgent need for road repairs and the construction of a pathway to the cremation ground.

Mongra committed to installing a hand pump in Dhoogiyari Panchayat by September to alleviate water shortages. He also mentioned that the construction of the cremation ground road will commence once the department finalizes the cost estimate. Additionally, he announced that ultrasound and X-ray machines have been delivered to CHC Tiara and will be made available to the public following their inauguration. Discussions are also ongoing with Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu regarding the provision of an ultrasound machine at Kangra Civil Hospital for surrounding panchayats.

During his address, Mongra noted that the tender for a water tank at Kangra Civil Hospital was halted midway by the contractor, but a new tender process has been initiated. He urged contractors to ensure they do not compromise on development projects and to engage only within their capabilities.

He highlighted that the Congress government is executing extensive development projects throughout the Kangra constituency and assured that a comprehensive report on future initiatives will be submitted to the Chief Minister shortly.

The gathering included Block Congress President Nageshwar Mankotia, Abdullahpur Panchayat Pradhan Sanjay Kancha, Kanta Saroch, Pradhan Nisha Devi, Pankaj Kangdiya, Anchal, Shabnam, and various women representatives.
