Community Issues Discussed with Chief Minister's Representative

Kewal Singh Pathania, the Deputy Chief Whip of the Himachal Pradesh Assembly, presided over the Sarkar Gaon Ke Dwar (Government at Your Door) initiative at Gram Panchayat Chhatrari today.

During this gathering, local residents voiced a range of requests and concerns pertaining to various government departments. Pathania addressed several issues immediately and instructed officials to take prompt action on the outstanding matters. The Revenue Department successfully issued 45 certificates and resolved two land mutation cases during the event.

He urged officials to hasten the processing of pending gift deed cases related to the Ghaira–Pyuhra–Chhatrari link road and to restore traffic flow on a three-kilometre segment. Additionally, he called for the construction of an impressive entrance gate for the historic Maa Shiv-Shakti temple. In response to community requests, Pathania directed the Block Development Officer to commence work on upgrading the Ukhli village road and instructed the Block Medical Officer to ensure that essential medicines are available at the Chhatrari Primary Health Centre.

Pathania reassured the community that a comprehensive report detailing ground-level issues concerning roads, drinking water projects, and other development initiatives would be compiled and submitted to Chief Minister Thakur Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu for further action.

The event saw participation from Surjeet Bharmauri (Chairman, District Congress Committee), Dildar Ali Watt (Chairman, Haj Committee), Amit Bharmauri (General Secretary, Pradesh Congress Committee), along with Panchayat representatives and senior officials from various departments.
