Court Sentences Man to Life Imprisonment for Murder
On Tuesday, the Additional Sessions Judge Sunita Singh of the Nagaur court sentenced an individual to rigorous life imprisonment for committing murder, along with imposing a fine.
According to Anil Mishra, the Additional District Government Advocate, the complainant Shivakant Vishwakarma reported to the Kotwali Nagar police station that on November 26, 2018, his father Shivkumar was at a pumping set when Suraj Singh and Brijesh Singh arrived, and Suraj Singh shot and killed his father.
After hearing the arguments presented by the advocate and reviewing the evidence, the court found Suraj Singh guilty and sentenced him to rigorous life imprisonment, along with a fine of ₹20,000.
