Support for Terror Attack Victim's Family
On Saturday, Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha paid a visit to the residence of Syed Aadil Hussain, a victim of a terror attack, located in the Hapatnard region of Pahalgam. Aadil lost his life alongside 25 tourists during a horrific terrorist incident in Baisaran Valley on April 22 this year.
During his visit, Sinha met with Aadil's bereaved family, assuring them of the government's unwavering support during this difficult time. Accompanied by senior officials from both police and civil sectors, he expressed his heartfelt condolences and pledged assistance to those affected by the tragedy.
In a gesture to honor Aadil's sacrifice, the Lieutenant Governor presented a job letter to Aadil's wife, Gulnaz Akhter. This initiative aims to provide financial security to the family, who lost their primary earner in the attack. The Waqf Board had previously taken measures to assist the family by securing employment for Aadil's brother.
After the visit, Lieutenant Governor Sinha addressed the media, reiterating the government's dedication to supporting families impacted by such violent acts. He stated, "We had already arranged to meet with the grieving family and extend our assistance. The permanent job offered to a family member is intended to help them through this challenging time."
