Gurugram Police Take Action Against Unauthorized Foreign Stays

In Gurugram, Haryana, authorities have initiated legal proceedings against 73 flat owners for allegedly accommodating foreign nationals in their apartments without the necessary permissions and without submitting Form-C. This information was confirmed by a police official.


According to police reports, the Khedki Daula police station received alerts regarding several foreign nationals residing in multiple flats within the DLF Primus Society in Sector 82 without the required Form-C and approvals.


Upon receiving this information, police officers visited the DLF Primus Society to conduct a thorough examination of the relevant documents. A spokesperson for the Gurugram police stated that during the investigation, it was revealed that the 73 flat owners had failed to report the presence of foreign nationals and had not completed the necessary Form-C.


The spokesperson further mentioned that a First Information Report (FIR) has been filed against all 73 flat owners at the Khedki Daula police station, and the investigation is ongoing. They emphasized that filling out Form-C and providing information about one's residence is mandatory for the sake of national security, law enforcement, and monitoring foreign nationals.


The police have instructed all hotels, guest houses, homestays, PG operators, and flat owners to ensure that Form-C is filled out for every foreign national staying at their establishments and that the local police station is notified accordingly.
