This performance led the Proteas to an 80-run victory over Zimbabwe in the third T20I, securing a 3-0 lead in the five-match series, as reported by the ICC.

A Record-Breaking Innings

Wolvaardt's 18th international century puts her level with India's Smriti Mandhana at the top of the list. This innings marked her fourth T20I century, surpassing her previous best of 115* against Ireland last December. She achieved a phenomenal score of 126* off just 62 deliveries, boasting a strike rate of 203.22, which included 16 fours and four sixes, propelling South Africa to a total of 200/1 while batting first.

Joining the Elite

With this latest achievement, Wolvaardt joins Mandhana at the pinnacle of women's international centuries, each having 18. Meg Lanning follows closely with 17 centuries, while Hayley Matthews has 15.

Dominant Bowling Secures Victory

Zimbabwe struggled to mount a significant challenge during their chase. South Africa's bowlers quickly reduced the hosts to 29/4 in the powerplay, and further wickets left them in dire straits at 35/6.
