Meghalaya Honeymoon Murder Case Update: Significant progress has been made in the investigation of the Meghalaya Honeymoon murder case, as local authorities have transported Sonam Raghuvanshi and other suspects to the Phulwari Sharif police station in Patna. The suspects are currently under strict security at the station. According to police reports, they are scheduled to be flown to Guwahati later today, where further legal proceedings will take place regarding the charges against them. Notably, the Shillong Police has secured a seven-day transit remand for three individuals implicated in the murder of Raja Raghuvanshi.
A four-member team from the Meghalaya Police traveled to Patna from Ghazipur via Buxar with Sonam. The next destination is Guwahati, from where she will be taken to Shillong.
The police are arranging for Sonam to board an IndiGo flight to Guwahati. Upon arrival, she will be presented in a local court in Shillong, where serious murder-related charges will be addressed.
Sources at the Phulwari Sharif police station indicated that a driver confirmed bringing Sonam to the location.
