Land Rover Unveils Exclusive Range Rover SV Sawai Collection in India
Introduction of the Range Rover SV Sawai Collection
In Jaipur, luxury vehicle manufacturer Land Rover has officially launched its exclusive and limited edition SUV, the Range Rover SV Sawai Collection. The starting ex-showroom price for this luxury collection is set at ₹4.90 crore. This bespoke collection pays homage to Rajasthan's rich history, unique architectural style, and royal culture, featuring three special editions: Sawai Jaipur, Sawai Jodhpur, and Sawai Jaisalmer. The company plans to produce only six units of each edition, totaling just 18 cars for the entire collection worldwide.
A Unique Bespoke Collection
This marks the third bespoke collection from Range Rover for India, following the successful launches of the 'Ranthambore Edition' and 'Masara Edition'. The new collection has been crafted by the brand's dedicated 'Range Rover Bespoke' division. The name 'Sawai' symbolizes a royal title associated with exceptional intelligence, capability, and uniqueness. Each of the three editions features 23-inch champagne-colored alloy wheels, an Atlas Silver exterior pack, and for the first time, components adorned with 24-carat gold plating around the Range Rover branding. The interiors also include a unique numbered plaque indicating '1 of 6'.
Luxury Features and Comfort
The entire collection is based on a long-wheelbase (LWB) four-seater cabin layout, which includes ventilated, heated, and massage-function executive seats for rear passengers, along with folding tables and entertainment screens.
Distinct Editions Inspired by Rajasthan
Three Special Editions Representing Three Cities:
- Sawai Jaipur Edition: Inspired by the terracotta pink color of Jaipur, this model features a unique pink hue on its body. The cabin combines cream and deep garnet colors, with seat embroidery inspired by the window patterns of Jaipur's famous Hawa Mahal.
- Sawai Jodhpur Edition: Dedicated to the blue identity of Jodhpur, this model showcases a light blue exterior. Its interior is designed with a combination of Pearlino and Rivera colors, with seat designs reflecting the intricate stone and wood craftsmanship of Jodhpur's forts and palaces.
- Sawai Jaisalmer Edition: This edition reflects the golden city of Jaisalmer, featuring a golden exterior. The cabin is adorned in Pearlino and Caraway tones, with traditional block printing and intricate embroidery inspired by the architecture of Jaisalmer Fort.

Impressive Engine and Performance: All 18 cars in the Sawai Collection are equipped with a 4.4-liter twin-turbo V8 petrol engine, generating a maximum power of 537 horsepower and peak torque of 750 Nm. They come with an 8-speed automatic transmission. These vehicles encapsulate the cultural heritage of Rajasthan's three historic cities, presenting a unique blend of exclusivity and luxury.
