In a surprising move, Lalu Prasad Yadav, the leader of the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD), has expelled his elder son, Tej Pratap Yadav, from the party for a duration of six years. Lalu cited Tej's irresponsible behavior and deviation from family values and public decorum as the main reasons for this harsh decision. This expulsion comes on the heels of Tej's recent claim on social media about being in a 12-year relationship with a girl named Anushka Yadav. However, he quickly deleted that post and later asserted that his account had been hacked.

Lalu Prasad Yadav's Statement on Social Media

In a social media announcement regarding this decision, the former Chief Minister of Bihar stated, 'Disregarding moral values in personal life undermines our collective struggle for social justice. The actions of my eldest son, his public conduct, and irresponsible behavior do not align with our family values and traditions. Therefore, due to these circumstances, I am distancing him from the party and family. He will no longer have any role in either.'

He further added, 'He is capable of assessing the good and bad in his personal life. Those who choose to associate with him should make their decisions wisely. I have always been an advocate for public decency in public life, and obedient family members have embraced and followed this principle.'

Tej Pratap's Relationship Revelation

On Saturday, Tej Pratap Yadav shared a photo on Facebook claiming he has been in a relationship with a girl for the past 12 years and had wanted to make this public for a long time. However, he soon deleted the post. Shortly after, he reposted the same picture with the same caption, reiterating his relationship status. Not long after, he deleted the post again, claiming that his social media account had been hacked and that there was an attempt to defame him with AI-generated images.
