KTR Calls for Action Against Congress

K.T. Rama Rao (KTR), the executive president of the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS), urged the youth of Telangana on Saturday to deal a "politically devastating blow" to the Congress party. He emphasized that such an action would teach the party's leaders a lesson for allegedly breaking promises made to the youth ahead of the 2023 assembly elections. Speaking at the BRS's 'Yuvajan Sangram Sadasu' event held at the Saroor Nagar Stadium in Hyderabad, KTR passionately appealed to the youth to draft a 'Death Declaration' for Priyanka Gandhi, the Congress party, Rahul Gandhi, and Revanth Reddy, who he claimed have deceived the youth under the guise of a 'Youth Declaration'. He stated that only when forced to write their 'Death Declaration' would they realize their mistakes.

KTR Intensifies Criticism of Congress Leaders

KTR escalated his criticism of Congress leader Rahul Gandhi and the Telangana government, accusing them of failing to fulfill pre-election promises made to the state's youth. He mocked Rahul Gandhi's famous slogan, stating that while he spoke of a 'shop of love', it has turned into a 'house of betrayal' for the youth and unemployed in Telangana. KTR questioned Rahul Gandhi about the commitments made during his visit to Ashok Nagar in Hyderabad in 2023, which included promises of two lakh government jobs, an annual job calendar, a monthly unemployment allowance of ₹4,000, scooters for women, and interest-free loans of ₹10 lakh for youth. He asserted that the Congress government has let down unemployed youth, with millions still waiting for recruitment notifications while the government seems more interested in "loot-khasot" (plunder) than in making appointments.

KTR Critiques Current Leadership

Referring to Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, KTR remarked that the CM is not providing jobs to the youth of Telangana but is instead busy filling Rahul Gandhi's pockets in Delhi. He recalled that the Congress party had launched its 'Youth Declaration' at the same Saroor Nagar venue before the assembly elections. KTR accused the ruling party of failing to deliver on its promises, resulting in disappointment for thousands of unemployed youth. The BRS organized the 'Yuvajan Sangram Sadasu' event to highlight the Congress government's inability to fulfill its commitments related to jobs, education, and the welfare of the youth.
