Sairaj Bahutule, the bowling coach for India, commended Virat Kohli for his unwavering commitment to fitness and continuous improvement in his game. He noted that both Kohli and Rohit Sharma serve as vital sources of inspiration for younger players. Kohli, who has stepped back from Test and T20I formats, remains India's most seasoned ODI player, having participated in 315 ODIs and amassed 15,080 runs, which includes 55 centuries and 79 half-centuries, boasting an impressive average of 59.13 and a strike rate of 94.30. Bahutule shared these insights with reporters ahead of India's second ODI against the West Indies in Guwahati. "Virat Kohli is someone who consistently enhances his performance with each series and match. Despite his numerous achievements, he remains eager to improve, which is remarkable. Kuldeep was awarded Player of the Match for his outstanding performance in the first ODI against the West Indies, where he took four wickets.
