BJP Dismisses Claims of Electoral Fraud

New Delhi: The BJP has strongly rejected Rahul Gandhi's assertions regarding vote manipulation in the Haryana Assembly elections, labeling them as "false and unfounded." The party accused the Congress leader of attempting to undermine the credibility of the Election Commission (EC) to mask his own shortcomings and tarnish the image of Indian democracy.

Union Minister Kiren Rijiju criticized Gandhi for allegedly trying to provoke the younger generation, asserting that India's youth are too discerning to be swayed by such tactics.

This response from the BJP came shortly after Gandhi referenced electoral data from Haryana, claiming that 2.5 million entries were fraudulent and that the Congress party's victory was unjustly taken from them last year.

Gandhi, who leads the Opposition in the Lok Sabha, stated he possesses "100 percent" evidence to support his allegations.

Rijiju dismissed these claims as "baseless and unfounded," pointing out that while Gandhi accuses the EC of vote theft, his party members have acknowledged that the Congress lost due to its own failings.

He recounted that during the Haryana elections, senior Congress figure Kumari Selja had expressed doubts about the party's chances, suggesting internal sabotage.

Additionally, Rijiju mentioned a recent resignation from a former Congress leader who attributed the party's defeat to a lack of effort from its leaders.

The Haryana Congress president, Rao Narendra Singh, also noted a lack of grassroots coordination within the party, further supporting Rijiju's claims.

Rijiju characterized Gandhi's allegations as "nonsensical and illogical," arguing that the Congress leader is fabricating stories of vote theft to distract from his failures, especially with upcoming elections in Bihar.

He emphasized that the BJP's electoral success stems from the dedication of its members, contrasting it with the Congress's approach.

Rijiju pointed out that Gandhi often travels abroad during critical political moments, suggesting that his absence from the electorate contributes to his party's losses.

He urged that any genuine concerns regarding voting irregularities should be directed to the EC or the courts, rather than being aired in press conferences.

The BJP leader accused Gandhi of "playing games" and inciting the youth in collaboration with "anti-India" elements to undermine the nation's democratic framework.

Rijiju concluded by asserting that the youth of India are firmly aligned with Prime Minister Narendra Modi, highlighting the country's robust economic growth under his leadership.
