He criticized the opposition for making false allegations against the Election Commission and electoral reforms, asserting that the debates in both houses of Parliament have clarified many issues. He pointed out that while some have questioned the electoral process, the discussions have dispelled any confusion surrounding the Election Commission and the electoral system.
Commitment to Transparency
The minister highlighted that this was the first time separate discussions were held on the Election Commission and electoral reforms, showcasing the government's readiness for future dialogues. He expressed satisfaction with the proceedings of the session, stating that there should be no lingering doubts after these discussions, and the opposition should acknowledge this clarity.
Passing of the VB-G Ram Ji Bill
Additionally, Rijiju expressed his happiness regarding the passage of the VB-G Ram Ji Bill, which aims to combat corruption and enhance transparency.
