Kiren Rijiju's Remarks on Congress

On Thursday, Union Minister Kiren Rijiju took a jab at the Congress party, stating that they have no remedy for the main opposition. He accused Congress of wallowing in despair whenever the nation makes progress. The BJP MP highlighted India's development over the past 11 years, noting that the country's exports have surged from $50 billion to an impressive $800 billion.

India's Economic Progress

Rijiju emphasized that the achievements in the last 11 years are so numerous that it is challenging to list all the initiatives. He mentioned that India is moving towards complete self-reliance across various sectors, with exports rapidly increasing beyond $800 billion. Reflecting on his early days as a minister, he recalled that the country was heavily reliant on imports, with exports not even reaching $50 billion. He remarked, "If Congress feels disheartened while the nation progresses, but the citizens are happy, then I have no solution for them."

Launch of Lok Sanvardhan Parv

In addition, Minister Rijiju described the Lok Sanvardhan Parv as a significant event aimed at promoting local skills and bringing their products to market. This initiative is designed to facilitate the exchange of products among various states. To commemorate the government's 11 years of empowerment, inclusion, and cultural pride, the Ministry of Minority Affairs is organizing the Lok Sanvardhan Parv at Birsa Munda Lawn, Gandhi Darshan in the national capital from June 11 to June 15.
