Khamenei's Strong Message to Trump

Iran's Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, has delivered a stern warning to U.S. President Donald Trump, likening him to historical tyrants and arrogant rulers. Khamenei drew parallels between Trump and figures such as Pharaoh, Nimrod, and Iran's last Shah, Mohammad Reza Pahlavi, suggesting that their downfalls occurred at the height of their arrogance.

In a post on his official X account (@khamenei_ir), Khamenei stated, "The U.S. President, who arrogantly judges the world, should understand that tyrants and arrogant rulers like Pharaoh, Nimrod, and Mohammad Reza faced their demise when they were at the peak of their hubris. He too will fall."

This statement comes amid widespread anti-government protests in Iran, where thousands have taken to the streets due to economic crises, sanctions, and recent conflicts. Protesters have been chanting in support of Reza Pahlavi, the former Shah's son, with slogans like "Pahlavi will return."

Trump had previously warned that the U.S. would intervene if the Iranian government attacked peaceful protesters. Khamenei accused Trump of having his hands "stained with the blood of Iranians" and claimed that the demonstrators were acting on behalf of foreign powers. He asserted that Iran would not tolerate any foreign interference and that a "strong united nation" would triumph over every enemy.
