A significant meeting focused on the Draft Development Plan for the Bharmour Special Area (2021–41) took place on Tuesday at the Mini Secretariat's conference hall, led by Deputy Commissioner Mukesh Repaswal. This session was organized by the Department of Urban and Town Planning.


During the meeting, attendees engaged in a thorough discussion regarding the proposed development strategy for the Bharmour Special Area. Participants included departmental officials, local panchayat members, urban planning specialists, and community members.


Representatives from the department outlined essential components of the draft, covering topics such as land utilization, infrastructure enhancement, transportation networks, environmental protection, parking facilities, tourism development, and the safeguarding of cultural heritage.


Deputy Commissioner Repaswal highlighted that the objective of the plan is to facilitate organized and sustainable growth in the Bharmour region, ensuring that amenities are aligned with local requirements. He instructed that the draft be circulated among all relevant departments for their review and input, aiming to develop a practical and high-quality document for execution.


The meeting also welcomed feedback and concerns from stakeholders to enhance the final draft, making it more effective and community-focused.
