Key Decisions from PM Modi's Cabinet Meeting to Boost Development and Employment

Today, under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the central cabinet convened for its inaugural meeting at Seva Teerth, where several significant decisions were made. These resolutions focus on crucial areas such as development, job creation, enhancing rail and air connectivity, and promoting green energy. The expansion of the civil enclave at Srinagar International Airport, costing ₹1,677 crores, is expected to boost tourism and employment in the Kashmir Valley. A modern terminal with a capacity for 1 crore annual passengers will be developed, reflecting local culture and improving access to Dal Lake and other tourist attractions. Similarly, the Ahmedabad Metro will be extended by 3.33 kilometers from GIFT City to Shahpur, with an investment of approximately ₹1,067 crores, facilitating movement related to business, employment, and education, thereby creating direct and indirect job opportunities.
