Kendriya Vidyalayas Announce Admission Dates for 2025-26 Academic Year

The Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan has released a notification regarding the admissions for the academic year 2025-26. Online applications will be open starting March 7 for students seeking admission into class 1 and Balvatika levels one and three, with the application deadline set for March 21.

For class 1, applicants must be six years old, while those applying for Balvatika one should be between three to four years. The age requirements for Balvatika two and three are four to five years and five to six years, respectively.

Official Notification Released

On Wednesday, the KVS issued this notification, instructing all Kendriya Vidyalayas nationwide to publish advertisements for admissions by March 6. It was also noted that applications for Balvatika will only be accepted from schools that offer Balvatika classes.

Age Calculation Date Set

The age for admission will be determined as of March 31, 2025. The KVS clarified that admissions for Balvatika two and three, as well as for second grade and higher, will only occur if there are available seats.

The registration process for Balvatika 2 and classes 2 and above will take place offline from April 2 to April 11, 2025, with information about available seats being provided online.
