Kejriwal's Emotional Outburst Criticized by Congress Leader Kharge

Congress Leader's Remarks on Kejriwal's Emotional Display

During a recent address in Barnala, Punjab, Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge commented on Aam Aadmi Party leader Arvind Kejriwal's emotional display in front of the media. He urged Kejriwal to fight against injustice like Rahul Gandhi, emphasizing that crying will not bring about change. Kharge pointed out that Prime Minister Narendra Modi used to speak similarly and advised the public not to follow either of them, labeling them as deceitful.

Kharge stated that merely expressing sorrow is ineffective. He encouraged those who wish to combat injustice to emulate Rahul Gandhi's approach. He criticized Kejriwal for lamenting about his lost honor and claiming to be a virtuous person, asserting that if one is truly virtuous, there is no need for such declarations; the public will recognize it themselves. He noted that Modi had previously made similar statements, calling both leaders hypocrites and warning that following them could lead to the country's downfall.

Kejriwal's Court Acquittal Sparks Emotional Reaction

Following his acquittal in the Delhi excise policy case, Kejriwal became emotional outside the court, asserting his integrity and stating that both he and Manish Sisodia are fundamentally honest individuals. Kharge also raised concerns about rising crime rates in Punjab, labeling the AAP government as the 'B team' of the BJP. He remarked that Punjab is known for its 'social justice,' with its leaders historically promoting harmony and unity. However, he lamented the current state of violence, including shootings and assaults on women, while the state government remains silent. Kharge accused the Punjab government of not wanting its citizens to remain united.

Kharge Critiques Modi's Trade Policies

Kharge further criticized Prime Minister Modi regarding the interim trade agreement between the U.S. and India, describing it as a form of 'surrender' by the BJP government and accusing Modi of 'selling' the country. He claimed that the Punjab government is following the BJP's lead, coining the phrase 'Surrender Modi' instead of 'Narendra Modi.' He asserted that Modi is attempting to sell the nation and enslave its citizens, with the BJP's second team mirroring this agenda.
