Kejriwal Questions Alleged Misappropriation of Donations at Ayodhya Ram Temple
Concerns Raised Over Ram Temple Donations
Arvind Kejriwal, the national convenor of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), has raised concerns regarding the alleged misappropriation of donations at the Ram Temple in Ayodhya. He has demanded accountability from both the central and Uttar Pradesh governments for the lack of action in this matter. Kejriwal emphasized that the Ram Temple symbolizes the faith of millions of Hindus, and any discrepancies in the donations made by devotees are a serious issue. He questioned why no FIR has been filed so far and asked whom the government is trying to protect.
Missing Donations and Lack of Action
Sharing a video on the social media platform X, the AAP leader claimed that reports indicate that around ₹200 crore in cash donations, along with boxes containing diamonds and other valuables, have gone missing. He accused the investigative agencies of failing to take any substantial action despite these claims. Kejriwal pointed out that neither the Uttar Pradesh police nor central agencies like the Enforcement Directorate (ED) and the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) have initiated any clear actions. He noted that both the central and Uttar Pradesh governments are led by the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), yet there have been no reports of raids or actions against the alleged culprits.
Political Reactions and Future Plans
In a post on social media, Kejriwal expressed that the alleged theft of donations at the Ram Temple has hurt every Sanatani. He also announced plans to visit Ayodhya on Friday to pay his respects at the temple. Following his announcement, political reactions have begun to emerge. These allegations have sparked a new political debate, with AAP demanding a transparent investigation and accountability for any irregularities related to the temple's funds.
