Kejriwal Promises Ministerial Role for Sanjeev Arora After Ludhiana West By-Election Win

Kejriwal's Commitment to Sanjeev Arora
Kejriwal urged voters in Ludhiana West to refrain from supporting candidates from rival parties, asserting that a loss for AAP would halt all ongoing development projects. The by-election is scheduled for June 19, with vote counting on June 23. The seat became vacant following the death of AAP MLA Gurpreet Bassi Gogi in January.
Alongside Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann and AAP Punjab in-charge Manish Sisodia, Kejriwal campaigned for party candidate Sanjeev Arora. Addressing a gathering in Sunet, he emphasized, "If you want progress, only an AAP MLA can ensure that. Voting for candidates from other parties will stop all your work." He also highlighted Arora's efforts to resolve long-standing issues.
He urged voters not to support Congress candidate Bharat Bhushan Ashu, stating, "If you vote for Ashu, all your work will come to a standstill. He cannot bring in funds and spends his time insulting Bhagwant Mann." The former Chief Minister of Delhi praised Arora's humility, describing him as a leader who follows the teachings of Guru Sahib and prioritizes the needs of the people.
Kejriwal assured that if Arora is elected, he would be appointed as a cabinet minister. Chief Minister Mann highlighted the achievements of his government, stating, "While other governments begin working in their final months, we started from day one." Mann also emphasized the progress made in Punjab under AAP's leadership and commended Arora.
