The defending champions of UPT20, Kashi Rudras, are set to kick off the Rudras Cup, marking the first regional scouting tournament initiated by a UPT20 franchise. This event will take place at the JK Loco Railway Stadium in Kanpur on July 7 and 8. This announcement follows the franchise's successful initial phase of player trials held at Sigra Stadium in Varanasi, where over 1,100 aspiring cricketers from across Uttar Pradesh registered to showcase their skills.

Rudras Cup Tournament Overview

The Rudras Cup will feature four regional teams representing Varanasi, Prayagraj, Jhansi, and Fatehpur. This tournament aims to provide selected players with an additional competitive platform to impress the coaching and scouting staff of the franchise ahead of the upcoming UPT20 season.
