COVID-19 Impact in Karnataka
On Monday, Karnataka recorded two additional fatalities due to the coronavirus, bringing the total death toll to 11. The state's health department also reported 67 new COVID-19 cases.
A 51-year-old woman from Belagavi passed away on June 8, having suffered from multiple health issues. Meanwhile, a 79-year-old man from South Canara succumbed to COVID pneumonia on June 9, after being admitted to a private hospital on June 6. Both individuals had received the COVID-19 vaccine.
