Siddaramaiah emphasized that there are no differences between them, asserting, "D.K. Shivakumar and I are united. We are running the government together and will continue to do so in the future." He mentioned that he accepted Shivakumar's invitation for breakfast, and both leaders discussed the upcoming assembly session. They agreed to convene a meeting of MPs on December 8 to address farmers' issues and other state matters, acknowledging the steps taken by the party high command, particularly by Rahul, Sonia, Priyanka, and Mallikarjun Kharge. Siddaramaiah noted that if the party high command calls them to Delhi, they will certainly attend. He also mentioned a scheduled meeting with K.C. Venugopal at an event they were both invited to.
Dismissing speculation about leadership struggles, Siddaramaiah stated that their unity is not a new development; they have always been united. He affirmed that they will act according to whatever decision Rahul Gandhi makes. The Chief Minister also raised the issue of Minimum Support Price (MSP) and confirmed the government's support for maize and sugarcane farmers. He shared that he had come to Shivakumar's residence for breakfast, as Shivakumar had previously invited him for a meal.
