Mumbai: Kareena Kapoor has always been open about her love for food. In her recent Instagram update, she expressed her cravings for Kadhi Chawal.

The actress shared a series of stunning images, showcasing her in a beautiful green lehenga paired with a saree, adorned with detailed embroidery and a net dupatta.

To complement her outfit, she wore a green choker necklace and opted for a subtle makeup look featuring light lipstick, kajal, soft eye shadow, and blush. Her hair was styled in loose waves with a center part.

What truly stood out was her caption, where she mentioned, "Day dreaming about my kadhi chawal."

Maheep Kapoor, wife of actor Sanjay Kapoor, responded to her post with fire emojis, showing her enthusiasm.

In a more serious turn of events, Kareena recently provided a statement to the police regarding a traumatic incident involving her husband, Saif Ali Khan, who was injured during a violent attack.

Her testimony detailed the frightening events of January 16, when an armed intruder broke into their residence in Bandra West, where Kareena lives with Saif and their children, Taimur and Jehangir.

"At around 2 am, our caretaker Junu came to my room and informed me that someone was in Jeh's room with a knife, demanding money," Kareena recounted to the authorities.

As she and Saif rushed to the scene, they encountered a man dressed in black. Kareena noticed their nurse, Eliyamma Philip, injured and bleeding. When Saif attempted to confront the intruder, he was stabbed multiple times.

"The assailant was armed with a knife and a hex blade. Saif intervened but was attacked. Geeta also tried to assist and was injured. I instructed Eliyamma to take Jeh away. We fled to the 12th floor with Jeh, followed by Saif, who was losing a lot of blood," Kareena explained in her statement.

She quickly called for help from the household staff to search for the attacker, but he had already escaped.

Later, she allowed Taimur to accompany Saif, along with their staff member Hari, to Lilavati Hospital.
