Karan Singh Secures Men's Singles Title

Athlete Karan Singh from the Roundglass Tennis Academy (RGTA) has emerged victorious in the men's singles category at the ITF Men’s World Tennis Tour M15 event held in Bali, Indonesia. This victory marks Karan's fourth title overall and his third for the 2026 season, with this being his second singles title. The fourth-seeded player from India (ATP ranking 604) triumphed over New Zealand's fifth seed Isaac Becroft in a tightly contested final, winning with scores of 7-5, 7-6(3).

Path to the Championship

Karan's journey to the title was remarkable, as he won the championship without losing a single set throughout the tournament. He kicked off his campaign by defeating Indonesian qualifier Gunawan Trismuwantara with a score of 6-3, 7-5. In the second round, he faced local wildcard Rafalentino Ali Da Costa, winning decisively at 6-3, 6-2. Continuing his impressive form in the quarterfinals, Singh overcame another Indonesian wildcard, Nathan Anthony Barki, with a score of 6-1, 6-4. In the semifinals, he faced Japan's seventh seed Ryotaro Taguchi, where he delivered a commanding performance, winning 6-3, 6-3 to secure his spot in the final.

A Successful 2026 Season

This singles victory in Indonesia is a significant highlight in Karan's successful 2026 season, following his recent doubles title win at the ITF M15 Astana in Kazakhstan. In August, he teamed up with Russia's Martin Borisiouk, and the unseeded duo fought through three challenging match tiebreaks, including a notable upset against the top seeds in the semifinals. They ultimately triumphed over the local Kazakh pair of Danial Rakhmatullayev and Damir Zhalgasbay with a final score of 6-3, 6-2.
