Kangra Residents Engage with Government Through Aapka Sevak Aapke Dwar Initiative

As part of the ongoing Aapka Sevak Aapke Dwar initiative, residents in the Kangra Assembly constituency are being given an opportunity to voice their concerns and seek direct solutions.

During a recent event in Bhanguar village, Chaudhary Narendra Nishu Mongra, President of the District and State Congress OBC Department (APMC), highlighted the importance of ensuring that government schemes reach every individual. He reaffirmed the government's commitment to providing essential services to the Changar region.

At the event, local issues were addressed immediately, while some were referred to officials for prompt action. Representatives from various departments, including Agriculture, were present to inform attendees about available welfare programs.

Nishu Mongra pointed out that the Kangra Assembly constituency has fallen behind in development for 25 years. However, under Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu’s leadership, significant improvements in infrastructure, including roads, bridges, drinking water, and healthcare, are underway. He also emphasized the government's initiative for natural farming, which is aiding farmers in obtaining fair prices for crops such as turmeric, wheat, and maize.

He encouraged women’s groups, noting that active Mahila Mandals involved in community service can apply for government grants ranging from ₹1 lakh to ₹3 lakh. He urged them to uphold their dignity and resist misleading influences.

Mongra condemned derogatory comments made about the Chief Minister on social media, labeling them as inappropriate and harmful to the reputation of Dev Bhoomi.

This initiative has gained popularity among villagers over the past year, offering a platform for individuals to express their grievances and receive solutions directly. The event concluded with the distribution of saplings to participants.
