Recently, the Additional District and Sessions Court in Kotdwar convicted all three suspects, imposing life sentences with rigorous punishment. Recognizing the severity of the situation, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami established a Special Investigation Team (SIT) on September 24, led by IPS officer P. Renuka Devi.
